We are approaching another milestone. It On July 26th, we celebrate 15 years of this summer community music series. It’s also our 10th year at Holt High School in the beautiful Margaret Livensparger Theater. The Miller Group from North Carolina helped us to kick off AEOSJ in the Hannah Community Center in East Lansing back in 2005. They are returning to the stage anlong with a group that sprouted from this community music series– 496 West. For the first performance in mid-Michigan, Grammy nominated Jazz Guitarist and Producer Doc Powell will be here. He has served as music director for the late Luther Vandross and has also played with Prince, Chaka Khan and Kirk Franklin and many others.
